持続可能性に配慮した調達コード
Product Name Senshu Mizunasu eggplant
Category vegetables
Product Description Eggplants are believed to have been cultivated in Japan for over 1,200 years. One notable variety, mizunasu thrives in the rich Senshu soil, evolving distinct features such as a thin peel and high moisture content. It is particularly recommended when pickled and for raw consumption. When eating it raw, we suggest adding it to a salad or wrapping it with uncured ham drizzled with olive oil. However, there are still many more ways to enjoy mizunasu. It is called “multi-use eggplant” among local farmers, and it can be heated up like normal eggplants as a delicious way to prepare it. Please try various ways to cook it such as suage, tempura, and ohitashi.
