Product Description |
Hirano Farm's “Suita kuwai arrowheads” are characterized by their small size, sticky and soft texture, and strong sweetness. They are a different variety from the “green kuwai arrowheads” commonly sold in the market, and are not just completely different in size, but also in taste. Suita kuwai arrowheads originally used to grow wild around rice fields, but have gradually disappeared. Hirano Farm began growing them in 2002, responding to request of the local community, and continues to grow them. Suita area has the perfect conditions for growing them with water flowing from the Senri Kyuryo Hills. They are harvested by hand, which requires proper water management, and also requires careful cultivation management including weeding, and many years of experience. We hope you will try the Suita kuwai arrowheads, cultivated with much effort and mindfulness. |
