| Message and Commitment from the Producer | There is a story that Hideyoshi Toyotomi's wife, Yodo, was fond of duck meat, and this prompted Hideyoshi to encourage the raising of ducks. Since then, Osaka has been a major duck producing area, but in recent years the number of duck farmers has been decreasing. Since its founding in 1870, Tsumura Honten has been dedicated to production of duck meat and has preserved Osaka's duck meat culture.
